The Auvergne Volcano | Day 1
Departure from Paris in a deluxe coach with your Carol Voyages guide and road to the Auvergne. Stop at Charroux, classified among the most beautiful villages of France, and free time for lunch. Continuation to Volvic for a tour of its springs and its factory, then visit the cave of the Volvic stone as an immersion in a lava flow. Dinner and overnight in a 3-star hotel in the surroundings.
The Auvergne Volcano | Day 2
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit the original Aventure Michelin, which tells you the history of the group, its men and its innovations. Continuation by a pedestrian tour of the old town of Clermont-Ferrand and its cathedral Notre-Dame with its crypt. Free time for lunch. In the afternoon, visit of Vulcania, the park where you can learn all about volcanism. Free time for dinner and night in a 3-star hotel in the surrounding area.
The Auvergne Volcano | Day 3
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, visit of the Lemptégy volcano for a total immersion in the entrails of a natural volcano followed by a 4D film. Continuation on Orcines to take the train of the panoramic of the Domes. Continuation through the beautiful village of Orcival with free time for lunch. In the afternoon, drive towards the Puy de Sancy, the highest peak of the Massif Central, which culminates at 1886 meters and that you will reach by the cable car of Sancy. Dinner and overnight in a 3-star hotel in the surroundings.
The Auvergne Volcano | Day 4
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning drive to St Nectaire and visit of the cheese house. Continuation on Vichy and visit of the famous sweet factory. Free time in this lovely town and time for lunch then drive back to Paris.
