Weekend in Lyon | Day 1

Departure from Paris in a deluxe coach with your Carol Voyages guide and road to Lyon. Stop on the way for a free time lunch. In the afternoon, visit of the old Lyon with its “traboules” (pedestrian walkway that allows you to walk from one street to another, passing under the habitation) and the Notre-Dame de Fourvière basilica, the astronomical clock of the cathedral St Jean Baptiste… Dinner at Chabert restaurant, an authentic “bouchon Lyonnais”. Weekend in Lyon | Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning guided tour of the Croix Rousse district, the Canuts house with weaving demonstration. Then stroll in the park of the Tête d’Or, the favorite park of Lyon inhabitants, and free time for lunch. Embark on a cruise that will allow you to discover the city from another angle. End of the cruise at the Confluence Museum for a visit of this new museum located in a modern district of Lyon at the confluence of the Rhone and the Saône rivers. Dinner in a brasserie of Lyon to taste the specialties of the city. Night in a 3-star hotel in the surroundings.

Weekend in Lyon | Day 3

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning road to the suburb of Lyon, Vaulx-en-Velin to visit Mini World Lyon. Built on more than 3 000 m², it is the largest park of animated miniatures in France. Continuation on Pérouges classified among the most beautiful villages of France, visit and free time for lunch. Then drive to Paris.
