DAY 2 - Weekend Impressionist | Day 2

Breakfast at the hotel. Visit to the Fine Arts museum, the 2nd largest collection of Impressionist work in France. Stop in front of the cathedral of Rouen immortalized by a series of Monet’s paintings. Free time for lunch around the cathedral, then drive along the loops of the Seine, a many towns and villages have close ties with Impressionism. Caudebec-en-Caux, much appreciated by Eugène Boudin, St Wandrille, Jumièges, La Bouille, Sisley who set up his easel in 1894 or Sahurs. Continuation to Barbizon, village bucolic charm where the School of Barbizon Rousseau, Millet and Corot are born. Visit of the house of Jean François Millet and walk in the village among art galleries. Return to Paris and end at the Orsay museum to enjoy the largest collection of Impressionist paintings in the world.
