DAY 1 - Weekend in Champagne | Day 1

Departure from Paris in a deluxe coach with your Carol Voyages guide in direction of Champagne for a visit of the Mercier cellars in Epernay. Discover in a very fun way aboard a small train, a part of the 18 km of cellars, before enjoying a Mercier champagne flute. Free time for lunch then continuation by visiting the famous cellars of Moët & Chandon including a tasting of Moët Impérial, an emblematic cuvée since 1869. Then drive to Reims and visit of the basilica Saint Remi, dating from the year one thousand and sheltering the relics of the bishop Saint Remi, who baptized Clovis. Dinner at the famous Apostrophe restaurant in the center of Reims and overnight in a 3-star hotel in the surroundings.
